Raspberry Pi 400: a complete personal computer, built into a compact keyboard. it’s a faster, cooler Raspberry Pi 4, integrated into a compact keyboard. If you’re looking for an affordable PC for day-to-day use this is the Raspberry Pi for you.
Note: This is just the standalone keyboard unit. You will also need a:
- USB-C power supply
- Micro-HDMI cable
- Micro-SD card
The connections for the LCD screen, camera, and analog (AV) audio/video have been removed. In addition, a USB 2.0 port was used internally to connect the keyboard. This means that two micro-HDMI, two USB 3.0 and one USB 2.0 ports, as well as a Gigabit Ethernet socket and a microSD card slot, are available. The 40-pin extension connection is also retained.
Apart from the fact that the Raspberry Pi 400 is shaped like a keyboard, it has few new functions. One of them is the soft key for Power On / Off (on the F10 key), which allows the RPi to shut down correctly instead of simply pulling the plug. Advantageous: There is a large heat sink inside, which makes a fan superfluous, which allows silent operation.
