Description
The Air780EU is a versatile 4G CAT1 communication module optimized for Europe, the Middle East, Russia, Thailand, Africa, and other regions. Supporting LTE-FDD frequency bands B1/B3/B7/B8/B20/B28, it provides robust connectivity with seamless network integration. Its streamlined UART interface, efficient power management, and broad protocol support make it ideal for IoT applications and development boards. The module offers a maximum data rate of 10 Mbps (downlink) and 5 Mbps (uplink) and integrates a wide range of network protocols, including TCP, UDP, PPP, HTTP, NITZ, NDIS, NTP, HTTPS, and MQTT. The Air780EU simplifies communication through a standard serial port, minimizing software development costs and accelerating IoT project timelines. With a low-power sleep mode (0.6mA), UART data wake-up, and periodic interrupt wake-up, the module is highly suitable for power-sensitive IoT applications. For example, a 500mAh battery can power the module for up to 26 days in PRO mode or 36 days in STD mode, assuming data reporting every 5 minutes The Air780EU also includes a USB network card function accessible via a Type-C interface, offering driver-free compatibility with PCs, Raspberry Pi, UNIHIKER, and LattePanda devices. This feature enables quick integration of 4G connectivity into various development boards. Additionally, its UART interface and AT command support ensure easy connection with microcontrollers and other development boards, expediting 4G-based project development. This series of 4G products is differentiated by communication rates and satellite positioning capabilities.
