Description

The Raspberry Pi GlobalConnect SIM7000G NB-IoT/Cat-M/EDGE/GPRS HAT is a powerful telecommunication module specifically designed for use with the Raspberry Pi. This advanced HAT supports global bands of NB-IoT, Cat-M, and GPRS, as well as GNSS positioning functions. It is small in size, low delay, and wide coverage makes it ideal for IoT applications such as intelligent instruments, asset tracking, remote monitoring, e-health, and more.

The HAT is equipped with a standard Raspberry Pi 40PIN GPIO extension header, making it compatible with all Raspberry Pi series boards. It supports a wide range of communication protocols such as TCP, UDP, PPP, HTTP, FTP, MQTT, SMS, Mail, etc. It also supports GNSS positioning (GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS) and an onboard USB interface, to test AT Commands, get GPS positioning data, and more. Additionally, it has breakout UART control pins, to connect with host boards like Arduino/STM32. It has an onboard voltage translator, 3.3V by default, and allows it to be switched to 5V via 0Ω resistor. SIM card slot, compatible with both normal SIM cards and NB-IoT-specific cards.

The HAT is equipped with 2x LED indicators, which makes it easy to monitor the working status. Baudrate: 300bps~3686400bps (115200bps by default). It's Control via AT commands (3GPP TS 27.007, 27.005, and SIMCOM enhanced AT Commands). It also supports the SIM application toolkit: SAT Class 3, GSM 11.14 Release 98, USAT. It also comes with development resources and a manual (examples for Raspberry Pi/Arduino/STM32) which makes it easy to set up and use. This HAT is the perfect solution for anyone looking to add telecommunication capabilities to their Raspberry Pi projects.
