Operating Instructions for the Dual WiFi Relay Module

Required Tools and Applications

  1. Power Adapter: 5V/1A.
  2. Mobile Apps:
    • ESP Touch-Demo (for initial WiFi setup).
    • EasyTCP-20 (for relay control commands).

Setup Steps

Step 1: Connect the power supply.

  • Attach the power adapter's positive (+) and negative (-) terminals to the module’s IN+ and IN- respectively.

Step 2: Configure WiFi (Mode 2 only).

  • Install the ESP Touch-Demo app on an Android device.
  • Use this app to configure the ESP-01 module with your WiFi credentials (SSID and password).

Step 3: Install the TCP transmission app.

  • Download and install EasyTCP-20 on your Android device.
  • Use this app to send relay control instructions:
    • Open the app, click SWITCH, and enter the relay control commands (in HEX format) along with their respective labels.

Instructions for Operating Modes

Mode 1: Direct Connection

  1. Module Initialization:

    • Insert the ESP-01 module and power on the device.
    • After ~4 seconds, the green LED will begin flashing every 2 seconds, indicating the setup is complete.
  2. Connect to the Module:

    • Connect your phone directly to the ESP-01’s hotspot (AP mode).
  3. Control the Relay:

    • Open the EasyTCP-20 app.
    • Click CONNECT. Once connected, the green LED will flash slowly and then stabilize.
    • Use the app’s gray boxes to send commands to toggle the relay.

Mode 2: Router Connection

  1. Switch to Mode 2:

    • Insert the ESP-01 module and power on the device.
    • Press the S1 button to switch to Mode 2. The blue LED will light up, and after ~1 minute, it will flash every 0.5 seconds, indicating the module is ready for WiFi setup.
  2. Configure WiFi:

    • Connect your phone to the router.
    • Open the ESP Touch-Demo app, enter the router’s password, and click Confirm.
    • After successful configuration, the app will display the module's IP address (e.g., 192.168.0.189).
    • The module will automatically save the WiFi credentials for future use.
  3. Control the Relay:

    • Open the EasyTCP-20 app.
    • Enter the module’s IP address in the app and click CONNECT. Once connected, the green LED will flash slowly and stabilize.
    • Use the app’s gray boxes to send commands to toggle the relay.
