Description

The CH341A USB conversion module is powered by the CH341A chip, a USB bus adapter chip renowned for its multi-faceted functions. This module leverages the USB bus to offer a wide range of interfaces and applications, making it a versatile tool for various tasks, including serial expansion, I2C interface EEPROM handling, SPI interface FLASH management, and STC MCU programming, debugging, data acquisition, and even device flashing.

Features:

  • USB to Parallel Printer Port: This module supports USB to parallel printer port conversion, making it compatible with both EPP and MEM parallel ports.
  • USB to UART, I2C, SPI Interfaces: It facilitates USB to UART, I2C, and SPI interfaces, offering flexibility for a multitude of applications. You can choose the output voltage and signal level (3.3V or 5V) as per your requirements.
  • Status Indicator Lights: Equipped with indicator lights, it provides clear feedback on the working status of UART and SPI/I2C, enhancing usability.
  • Compact Hardware: The board size is a compact 45x27 mm, ensuring easy integration into various projects.

Pinout:

  • UART Interface: VCC, RXD, TXD, GND.
  • I2C Interface: VCC, SDA, SCL, GND.
  • SPI Interface: MISO, MOSI, SCK, CS2, CS1, CS0, GND, VCC.
  • Parallel Printer and EPP/MEM Port: The 10P 2.54mm pin interface can be configured for print or EPP/MEM functions; refer to the manual for pin definitions.

Operating Modes:

  • UART Mode (Jumper Cap on the Right of USB): When the jumper cap is inserted into the UART configuration, the D2 indicator light (blue) illuminates.
  • I2C/SPI and EPP/MEM Parallel Mode: Inserting the jumper cap into the I2C/SPI setting activates the D1 indicator light (red). For EPP/MEM parallel mode, you'll need to unplug the jumpers and connect SDA and SCL.
  • Output Voltage Selection: The module allows you to choose the output voltage and signal level (3.3V or 5V) through two jumper caps on the left of the USB connector.
