Description

 The RP-C flexible pressure sensor is a circular, thin film pressure sensor with a diameter of 18.3mm, designed for high sensitivity in detecting both static and dynamic pressures. This sensor is robust and exhibits a quick response time, making it suitable for various applications such as pressure switches, bed monitoring systems, intelligent footwear, and medical devices. It can record the intensity and frequency of applied forces effectively, making it versatile and easy to use.

 

Features

  • Material Composition: Made from ultra-thin film with excellent mechanical properties. Utilizes conductive materials and nanometer pressure-sensitive layers.
  • Structure: The upper layer contains a thin film and a pressure-sensitive layer. The lower layer consists of a thin film and a conductive circuit. Both layers are bonded with double-sided tape.
  • Operation Mechanism: The sensor converts pressure into resistance by connecting the circuit through the pressure-sensitive layer when external pressure is applied. Output resistance decreases as pressure increases, providing different resistances under various force conditions.
  • Performance: Suitable for qualitative measurements due to varying slopes in the resistance-force relationship. Provides reliable detection of force intensity and frequency.
