Description

The DFRobot Gravity MAX30102 Heart Rate and Blood Oxygen Sensor Module is a highly integrated, user-friendly device for accurate biometric monitoring. Built around the Maxim MAX30102 chip, it features an embedded MCU with advanced heart rate and blood oxygen algorithms. The sensor uses Photoplethysmography (PPG) technology to capture precise data on heart rate and blood oxygen levels. The onboard MCU processes this data and outputs it via I2C or UART interfaces, minimizing the main controller's workload and making the module straightforward to implement across a wide range of applications.

For convenient data visualization, the sensor also includes a compatible desktop application, allowing real-time data reading through a PC connection. To ensure accuracy, secure the sensor on your finger without directly pressing down, as applied pressure can affect output. Orientation does not impact performance, ensuring flexible and easy usage. Note that while this device offers reliable measurements, it is not a professional medical instrument and should not be used for clinical diagnosis or treatment purposes.
