Description
The Meshtastic T-Beam V1.1 is a versatile wireless module designed for Arduino projects. It features an ESP32 microcontroller unit (MCU) with 4MB of flash memory and 8MB of PSRAM, providing ample resources for your applications. The module utilizes the CH9102 serial chip and supports wireless communication through Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.2 protocols. One of the notable features of this module is its LoRa (Long Range) capability. It incorporates either the SX1278 (433MHz) or SX1276 (868/915/923MHz) transceiver, providing long-range and low-power communication. With a high sensitivity of -148dBm and a transceive rate of 300 kbps, it enables reliable and efficient data transmission over extended distances.
Additionally, the T-Beam V1.1 includes a built-in GPS module based on the NE0-6M GPS protocol. It features an onboard RTC crystal and supports interrupt/wakeup functions, making it ideal for applications requiring precise timekeeping and location-based functionality. The module is equipped with a power management unit (PMU) in the form of the AXP192, which efficiently manages power consumption and enables various power supply options. You can power the module using a USB micro connection or a 18650 battery holder (USB can also power the battery). The T-Beam V1.1 incorporates three buttons for power, IO38, and reset functions, providing convenient control and interaction options for your projects. It comes with a 3D WiFi antenna as the default antenna, and also supports the use of a WiFi IPEX external antenna (requires a resistance jump). Additionally, it includes a LoRa antenna and a GPS ceramic antenna for enhanced signal reception.
